Special Wish: Meeting Tony Hawk

Brandon had the opportunity to meet the most well known skateboarder in America, Tony Hawk. When leaving for Disneyland, the Bacher’s did not know if Tony would be available to meet Brandon. However, on the last day of their 16-day vacation, they received a call saying Tony was free and willing to meet Brandon. Brandon was completely star struck. "He talked to me for a long time," Brandon said. "It was awesome. He performed just for me and gave me a lot of gifts to bring home, including an autographed skateboard." Brandon added, "He was just like someone you have always known. I loved it. It was awesome. It was the neatest thing that has ever happened to me." This is an experience that means the world to Brandon and his family; it is something they will never forget it.
